These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the access to and use of the Rentibox platform and related services provided by Rentibox (“Rentibox”, “the Company”, “it”, or “its”). The Rentibox service includes the website located at https://rentibox.com/ (the “Site”) and any related products, applications, or services (collectively, the “Service”).
General Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the rental of furniture through the Service. By renting goods from the Service, the User is deemed to have accepted these Terms. Customers must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
By accessing or using the Service, any individual or entity (the “User”, “Lessee”, or “Customer”) acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and the Company’s Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference and available at https://rentibox.com/privacy-policy/.
If a User accesses or uses the Service on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, such User represents and warrants that they have the authority to bind that entity and its affiliates to these Terms. In such circumstances, the terms “User”, “Lessee”, or “Customer” shall refer to both the individual acting on behalf of the entity and the entity itself. If a User does not agree to these Terms, or does not have the authority to bind the relevant entity, the Service must not be accessed or used.
The Company reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Users are encouraged to review these Terms carefully before using the Service.
Rental Items
Rentibox provides furniture and related items in good condition suitable for normal residential use. All items are inspected prior to delivery. Normal wear and tear from ordinary use is expected and will not be considered damage.
Rental Period & Early Termination
The rental period begins on the agreed start date and continues until the end date unless terminated or extended in accordance with these Terms.
Early termination incurs a penalization fee equal to a minimum rental period of three (3) months. Early termination is permitted only 2 months before the end of the signed contract by giving a one (1) month written notice.
Payment Terms
Rental fees are payable monthly in advance via bank transfer, credit card, or other approved payment methods. The first payment is due upon signing the agreement and must be paid at checkout or by invoice within three (3) business days.
Late payments may incur a €5 monthly fee plus applicable statutory interest. A refundable security deposit may be required and will be returned at the end of the rental period, subject to deductions for damages or unpaid fees, within fourteen (14) business days after inspection of the returned items.
Delivery & Installation
The furniture is delivered to the Lessee’s address at an agreed date and time. The Lessee must ensure access for delivery and may designate a representative to receive the items. The furniture must be inspected by the Lessee upon delivery, and any defects must be reported within 24 hours by providing written notice to the customer support email (customerservice@rentibox.com), including the order number. If delivery cannot be completed due to the Lessee’s absence or lack of access, Rentibox reserves the right to charge a rescheduling fee.
Rentibox personnel will perform all necessary assembly and installation of the furniture and will ensure that any areas directly impacted by the delivery and installation processes are cleaned upon completion of the work. This does not include, in any way, general or full-property cleaning services.
Relocation Service
Relocation of the rented furniture to a new address may be permitted subject to prior written approval by Rentibox. The Lessee must submit a relocation request in writing at least seven (7) days in advance of the intended moving date. Rentibox reserves the right to approve or reject such requests at its sole discretion.
An additional relocation fee will apply, ranging from 20€ to 50€ depending on the distance and logistics involved. The Lessee may opt to relocate the furniture without requesting the relocation service from Rentibox, in which case the terms and conditions described in Section VIII shall apply.
Care and Maintenance
The furniture must be used for its intended purpose as specified in the contract agreement. The Lessee is obligated to maintain the furniture in good condition and follow the provided care instructions. Any modifications require prior written consent from Rentibox, in which case the Lessee is responsible for any damage caused by misuse, pets, smoke, liquids, burns, or unauthorized structural modifications.
Damage, Loss, or Theft
The Lessee is responsible for damage, loss, or theft of furniture beyond normal wear and tear. The Lessee shall notify Rentibox in writing within twenty-four (24) hours of any such damage, loss, or theft, providing full details of the incident. In the event of theft or loss, the Lessee shall provide a valid police report or other official documentation acceptable to Rentibox as evidence of the incident.
In the event that the Lessee does not acquire Rentibox's furniture relocation service as specified in Section VI, the Lessee shall be fully responsible for any damage, loss, or theft occurring during transportation and handling.
Ownership
Rentals do not transfer furniture ownership from Rentibox to any third party unless specified otherwise in a contractual agreement. After a 12-month rental, the furniture items may be purchased by the Lessee by paying 10% of their original value. For 6-month rentals, purchase requires payment by the Lessee of 120% of the total rental fees paid.

In the case of 12-month rental contracts, furniture ownership can be transferred after completing the 10th month by the Lessee paying 10% of the furniture’s original value. In the case of 6-month rental contracts, furniture ownership can be transferred after completing the 5th month by the Lessee paying 120% of the furniture’s original value.
Liability
Rentibox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of profits, or loss of business opportunities. Lessees agree to indemnify Rentibox for any claims arising from the use of the furniture.
Termination
Agreements may be terminated by mutual consent of the parties, non-payment, or breach of contract. Furniture must be returned in good condition, subject to reasonable wear and tear, upon inspection.
Force Majeure
Rentibox shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, transport disruptions, or government restrictions.
Data Protection
Rentibox processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Customer information shall be used solely for order processing, customer service, compliance with legal obligations, and corporate communication. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Finland. These Terms shall be interpreted and performed in the English language.
Acceptance
By entering into a rental agreement with Rentibox, the Lessee acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
